Description:
This project consists of design and installation of an arsenic removal unit in the County's water system supply line to remove Arsenic V from the groundwater that is pumped for the County's water supply. Due to recent EPA mandates that lowers the allowable Arsenic V level from 50ppb to less than 10ppb some rural watersystems that rely on wells will be required to install arsenic removal systems to bring their arsenic levels down to the new standard.
Experience / Qualifications:
OEI was involved in an EPA pilot project in Wellman, Tx to install an arsenic removal unit and test the economic and functional viability of similiar units in a small municipal water systems.
